Some rhetoric from an old timer, the three RISD students who hid Velvet underground records in providence rhode island (where I'm from) Actually, RISD had (has) race riot up at their museums (not that they'll accept my e-mails) The big dramatc moment was the shot of Andy in the Saturday Review (which was a respectable magazine) in his leather mc jacket entire the infamous "factory": ta-da. A focal point for weirdos everywhere, not to be rude but Andy, strictly speaking, was apparently pretty weird and appealed to losers or odd balls. Next up was the early seventies, Elton John on the radio , then at about 2 am on college station Lou with Rock and Roll animal. I providence we heard about Edie Sedgwick latter.
