Is punk a focus of what (raison d'etre) so easy (tempting) to become embroiled, to despair, to laceration, from the nature of it's environment, new york, new york as art center or media center. Post punk could be Madonna, could be Regan, could be the first iraq war, could be Monica Lowinski.
